Name of Course: Administrative Office Assistant: Office Management

This part of the Administrative Office Assistant series is open to all members of the public who want to learn more about skills needed in preparation for employment and those used within an office or administrative setting such as Business English, file management, employment documents, and Microsoft Outlook. Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the class and gain skills to apply in the workplace.

Name of Course: MS Word: An Introduction to Word Processing

This course introduces students to the use of word processing software.

Students will learn to organize their ideas to present a cohesive message.  They will practice creating, editing, and saving MS Word documents.  Students will become familiar with the placement of text, images, tables, etc. in MS Word documents through use of the toolbar.  They will learn to use suitable font selection, formatting, columns, bullet lists, and create calendars.  Students will produce a variety of documents for business, social o09/rganization and personal use to demonstrate their understanding of proper secretarial standards.

Education to Go (Ed2Go) Classes
These courses are designed to meet individual's needs and interests by enabling learners to take classes in the comfort of their own homes. You can study at a time that is most convenient for you, without the need for attending classes on campus.

Many classes follow a 6 week, 24 hour, structure which consists of two (2) lessons per week for a total of twelve (12) lessons or the equivalent of twenty-four (24) contact hours for 2.4 CEU credits.

REFUND POLICY

Students must officially withdraw from class prior to the first class meeting to receive a full refund.  Students must officially withdraw from class prior to the official 10% point to receive a 75% refund.  Students who withdraw after the official 10% point will not receive a refund.

Registration fees for self-supporting classes are non-refundable once the class begins (contact Justin Rose with any refund questions).
