Business Expo Helps Owners Succeed

Business owners can learn fundamental principles to help their business succeed at the 2016 Beaufort County Business Expo. The Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce and Beaufort County Community College’s Small Business Center are putting on three free seminars on September 28 from 11:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. in Building 10 at the main campus of BCCC.

Participants can register in a drawing to win a tablet. Flu shots will also be provided by Carolina East Medical Associates. Immunizations will be $25 for non-insured. Chamber members are invited to a free lunch at 11:00 a.m.

The seminars include “What Can BCCC’s Small Business Center Do for You?” presented by Lentz Stowe; “10 Essential Skills of Successful Small Business Owners,” presented by Mike Collins; and “Legal Tips 101; What Do I Need to Know for My Business?” presented by Will Mayo.

Lentz Stowe is the director of the Small Business Center at BCCC. Business owners and prospective entrepreneurs will learn free resources to assist in starting, expanding and improving your business. Mike Collins is the president of The Perfect Workday Company. Participants will develop better skills to manage their business operation. Will Mayo is an attorney at law. He is a business law expert and local entrepreneur.
