BCCC Programs Overview

Beaufort County Community College (BCCC) is committed to Teaching & Learning and Individual Human Worth. We demonstrate that commitment through the wide range of educational and support services we provide to the residents of Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties and beyond. We offer 30 associate degree programs, 14 diploma programs, and 48 certificate programs across a wide range of College Transfer and Career and Technical Education (CTE) focus areas. Our programs are organized into Arts and Sciences, Business/Industry, and Allied Health.

We also offer a comprehensive Library and a Learning Enhancement Center that provides comprehensive research, support, and academic development services. Some students choose to enroll in the college transfer program and then transfer to a four year university. Students interested in completing an associates degree at BCCC and then transferring to a 4-year university should review Baccalaureate Degree Plans and Transfer Four Year Guides in selecting courses they complete at BCCC.

BCCC offers classes on campus, hybrid classes, evening classes and online classes. By placing learning first, students become a full partner in the learning process. Students are able to take primary responsibility for their academic career and their future success. To assist in this journey, the College has developed a host of resources for students to utilize on their path toward becoming a lifelong learner.
