The Beaufort Promise Scholarship pays for all 50+ hour initial certification classes in Continuing Education, as well as your GED or high school equivalency. If you make a plan for a credential, we will help make that plan a reality.

What will you do with free training?

Ready to be your own boss? We have certifications in Nail Tech, CDL, and HVAC that will let you start out working for a company, but give you a path to work for yourself later in your career. Ready to work in a dynamic environment? Our EMT certification will let you get started serving your community.

Stackable credentials mean that each successful class can earn a certification. You can stop at one and start working in the field, or you can take the next level to advance in the field.

Residents of Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties can have their class fee covered by the Beaufort Promise Scholarship for 50+ hour certification classes. Summer semesters are not included. Textbooks and uniforms are not included.
