This 6-hour course is required for persons wanting to apply for notary public commissions for the State of North Carolina. Various topics related to the duties of a notary public will be covered in the class. Individuals should review the notary qualifications list on the N.C. Secretary of State's website at https://www.secretary.state.nc.us/notary/ before registering for the class. Per NC Secretary of State Guidelines, students will have to pass an exam to complete the class requirements. Students will be required to show their social security card and photo ID on the first night of class, per a NC Secretary of State requirement.

All classes will be held from 9 am to 4 pm (with a one-hour lunch break). All classes will be held in building 8.
