With the new Beaufort Digital Bridge, Beaufort CCC can help grow your confidence and skills to excel in a modern workplace. We are offering a new Veterinary Assistant class to help you start a new career. The college’s Small Business Center is here to help you gain the confidence to start a new side gig or full-time business.

The Small Business Center is offering an expanded core curriculum to help participants incorporate a new business or non-profit, develop a business plan, finance a business, and manage and market a business.

For those ready to serve their community, the Basic Law Enforcement Training can help students get started in the field as a police officer or sheriff's deputy.

Back by popular demand, the college is offering Digital Literacy: Computer Basics at senior centers in Beaufort, Hyde, and Washington Counties. These classes are free to qualifying individuals.

Which classes are free or qualify for scholarships? If you see a logo next to classes, they qualify for the Beaufort Promise Scholarship or another scholarship or fee waiver, meaning that we will cover the registration fees for qualified individuals. The Beaufort Promise Scholarship uses a combination Beaufort County funding and private scholarships to pay for college credit courses or 50+ hour initial certification courses through the Division of Continuing Education. Summer semester is not included. Textbooks and uniforms are not included, but students may qualify for additional scholarships that can help with these costs. Applicants must be residents of Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties. Students taking college credit classes must enroll in at least nine credit hours and have a 2.0 GPA. Students residing in other counties may qualify for other financial aid, including the Next NC Scholarship, which can cover tuition and fees for college credit courses for students from households making less than $80,000.

Programs like the Small Business Center and our College & Career Readiness programs (GED and ESL) are free for all students.
