BCCC Hosts Veterans History Project with Congressman Greg Murphy

Beaufort County Community College will be hosting Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., as his office hosts its fourth Veterans History Project event:

"As the representative of over 76,000 veterans, it is my honor to help record the stories of our veterans in the Library of Congress," said Congressman Murphy, M.D. "This event has been a tremendous success over the last two years, bringing together veterans from across North Carolina's Third Congressional District to preserve the history of their service for future generations. I am proud to continue spearheading this important and heartwarming endeavor."

The Veterans History Project (VHP), sponsored by the Library of Congress, is an initiative that collects, preserves, and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans. The program highlights the incredible stories of sacrifice, bravery, and heroism displayed by veterans across the country.

Attending organizations include the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and Disabled Veterans of America (DAV).
