Will you be part of the next winning Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge?

Do you have a passion for our living world, learning about other cultures, or working intensely with people from different programs across campus and across the globe? If we are going to continue prospering on our planet, we must find ways to eliminate waste, toxics and protect our precious resources and health, and we must learn to do so as an international community. Beaufort County Community College has put forth two winning teams for the Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge over the past year. Are you ready for the challenge?

In this competition, colleges in the US, Iraq and Jordan pair up to create the best sustainable business solutions to community challenges. Teams compete against peers to craft sustainable business solutions that engage industries. Sustainable businesses contribute to solving the global challenge of sustainable development, doing business today in a way that lets future generations enjoy the same or more resources as the current generation. Through this competition, you will develop skills to collaborate across cultures, solve problems, develop innovative business concepts, cultivate teamwork and leadership skills while solving global challenges at the local level.
