Students from College of The Albemarle can now complete some classes on their "home" campus and finish the Boat Manufacture & Service diploma at Beaufort CCC.

Beaufort CCC and College of The Albemarle Partner on Four Programs



Beaufort County Community College (Beaufort CCC) is proud to announce new Instructional Service Agreements (ISAs) with College of The Albemarle (COA), opening exciting educational and career pathways for students in both areas. ISAs allow students to take general education course requirements at their “home” college and then easily transfer to the partner college to complete program-specific courses. These partnerships enhance COA's and Beaufort CCC’s commitment to providing diverse, high-quality educational opportunities that lead to successful careers.

“We are very pleased to accept qualified College of The Albemarle (COA) students into our boat manufacture and service program and open new opportunities for our students with COA in areas such as aviation, culinary arts, and heating and air,” said Dr. Dave Loope, Beaufort CCC President. "Our students are ambitious, and they want to work in positions that feel exciting and purposeful. We are happy to collaborate with COA to connect them to their chosen career aspirations."

The latest agreements between the two colleges include:

-Boat Manufacture and Service – Boat Construction Diploma – Offered at Beaufort CCC
Focused on the intricate craft of boat building, this diploma program offers hands-on training in boat construction techniques, ensuring graduates are ready to meet industry demands. -Culinary Arts Diploma – Offered at COA - Edenton-Chowan

-Aviation Systems Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – Offered at COA - Currituck
This comprehensive program trains students in the maintenance and repair of aviation systems, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare for careers in the aviation industry. To learn more about COA’s Aviation Systems Technology program, visit www.albemarle.edu/aviation.

-Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVAC) Technology Diploma – Offered at COA - Dare and COA - Edenton-Chowan

Beaufort CCC also offers an ISA with Martin Community College for Physical Therapist Assistant. In exchange, Martin CC students can transfer into Associate Degree Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology at Beaufort CCC. Pitt Community College students can transfer into the Medical Laboratory Technology program, as well. In exchange, Beaufort CCC students can transfer into the Health Information Technology program at Pitt CC.
