Saturday-Only Mechanical Engineering Class Offered Starting March 8

Beaufort County Community College is offering a Saturday-only Mechanical Engineering Technology course starting March 8. This program offers working professionals a flexible way to earn a certificate in Advanced Manufacturing in just one year, while continuing to work full-time.

Students will gain practical skills in key areas such as drafting and design, manual machining, CNC machining, and OSHA-10 General Industry training. These skills are designed to help participants advance in their careers and meet the growing demands of the manufacturing industry.

This course is in response to requests from local businesses to provide ongoing training to the community that does not conflict with work schedules. Classes will be held on Saturdays, making it easier for individuals to balance work, life, and education.
