Public Invited to Trunk or Treat at Beaufort County Community College on October 24

Beaufort County Community College (Beaufort CCC) is excited to host a Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This free family-friendly event will be held on the Beaufort CCC campus in front of the Elliott Administrative Building (1), offering a safe and fun-filled evening for community members of all ages.

Participants can expect a variety of decorated car trunks filled with candy and treats for children to enjoy. Beaufort CCC departments will be creatively decorating their trunks with spooky and festive themes, making it a night to remember for the whole family.

The college recently held a Movie on the Lawn evening event for the public. Many students and employees brought their families and friends to the event, with about 200 people in attendance.

“We are thrilled to welcome our families to our campus for an evening of Halloween fun,” said Dr. LaTonya Nixon, VP of Student Services. “This is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some treats, and get into the spirit of the season. The great thing about our college is that we are intricately tied to community, with over 7000 people in our area attending throughout the year. We have a lot of parents, grandparents, and guardians who are connected to the college. We want them to know that they belong here.”

The event is free and open to the public. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. For more information, visit the Beaufort CCC website or call (252) 946-6194.
