Programs

The Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Technology Programs are limited in the number of students that can be admitted each year. These programs have a competitive admissions process and have special admission requirements, application process, and selection criteria found at the Allied Health Admissions Steps webpage.

Students have an additional option for a healthcare career at Beaufort County Community College with the Health Information Technology (HIT) program. BCCC has renewed its transfer agreement with Pitt Community College so that students can take one year of classes at Beaufort before transferring to Pitt to finish an Associate in Applied Science in Health Information Technology online. The program will place students locally for their clinical practice during their second year. Contact Kent Dickerson, Dean of Allied Health and Nursing for more information on the HIT program.
