Welcome to the Beaufort County Community College American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center website! Did you know that every 40 seconds someone in the United States has a heart attack? Did you know that in 2019 6.6 million United States citizens died due to stroke and stroke complications?

In eastern North Carolina, we have many citizens with cardiovascular disease and stroke conditions who contribute highly to the national statistics. Don’t be a statistic, come learn from the best. We offer classes to everyone! Families, friends, law enforcement, high school students/faculty, up to various levels of healthcare professionals. Beaufort County Community College AHA Training Center has nearly 30 qualified, knowledgeable instructors with great equipment and a learning environment that will offer you an invaluable experience.

In 2021, Beaufort Community College AHA Training Center issued 1,450 certification cards upon completion of various levels of CPR training.In addition, there were 200 cards issued to non-certified individuals through hands-only CPR.
